PURLEY MASJID EID-UL-FITR - CHANGE OF VENUE

Croydon Council have withdrawn permission for us to hold Eid Salah at Purley Way Playing Fields; therefore Eid-ul-Fitr Salah will now take place at Purley Masjid

 

LIMITED SPACE:

Entry to the Masjid will be strictly on a first-come-first-served basis There will no booking system

 

To ensure distancing measures, a maximum of 80 people will be allowed in per Jamaat.  This includes 15 spaces for Sisters*

6 Jamaats...

- 7:00am

- 8:00am

- 8:30am

- 9:00am

- 9:30am

- 10:00am

 

The 9:00am, 9:30am and 10:00am Jamaats are likely to be the busiest, so please avoid these times if possible

 

ITEMS TO BRING:

- A face covering

- A prayer mat

- A bag for your shoes

PARKING:

- Park responsibly and legally

- Park in the car parks available

- Do *not* stop in front of the Masjid

- Do *not* drop off in front of the Masjid

 

COVID-19 GUIDELINE MEASURES:

-Medical Conditions:

Anyone with a pre-existing medical condition which makes them vulnerable to COVID-19, or anyone with ‘flu-like symptoms must not enter

- Travel abroad:

If you have recently travelled abroad to any country in the past 14 days, do not attend

- Wudhu:

The Wudhu and toilet areas will be closed; come with Wudhu

OTHER INFO.:

- Queue in such as a way as to maintain 1m distancing; no crowding

- Disperse immediately after Salah; do not mingle on the forecourt or the pavement

- Please keep the pavement as free as possible for the public to pass

- Please co-operate with the volunteers to ensure a smooth running of the event

 

*Note that if a Sister is permitted entry into the Masjid, it does not mean a male member of the family is guaranteed entry
