As-Salamu Alaiykum,

The moon has been sighted this evening; therefore 1st Dhul-Hijjah will be from today - Wednesday 22nd July.

The day of Arafat will be on Thursday 30th July and Eid-ul-Adha* will be on Friday 31st July

Among the great seasons of worship are the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah, which Allah has favoured over other days.  It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas (may Allah [swt] be pleased with him) that the Prophet (sallaAllah ‘alayhi wasallam) said: ”There are no days on which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days”

Remember to read Quran, do Dhikr and give as much Sadaqah as you can in the next 10 days

Next week we will send out details regarding Eid Salah
